Table lamp - An elegant and highly decorative table lamp - Brass, Wood

An elegant and highly decorative table lamp featuring a classic baluster-form body. The base is crafted from lathe-turned solid wood, expertly finished in a deep forest green wash that highlights the natural grain of the wood. The wooden body is encased in magnificent, heavily detailed gilded openwork metal mounts (ormolu style). The metalwork displays meticulous artistry, including: • An intricate criss-cross lattice pattern enveloping the neck and the lower base. • Richly sculpted floral garlands, acanthus leaves, and rose swags that drape elegantly across the waist and base. • A classical acanthus leaf vertical spine along the lower cage structure. The body is judt sitting on the wooden base. The lamp base is in good overall vintage condition and the lamp works great with E27 normal size bulb, an European standard plug and a switch on/off button. The lampshade is simple black with white inside.
