Toutes les enchères / Luminaire / Table lamp - Aluminium, Glass - Vintage Bulb table lamp
Vintage 1970s Bulb table lamp – Italian design – Space Age Beautiful and striking vintage Bulb table lamp from the 1970s, designed as an enlarged classic incandescent bulb. A playful and timeless design that instantly evokes the atmosphere of Italian Space Age design from that period. The lamp is composed of a handsome white milk-glass shade, a large brass-colored screw ring with a beautiful natural patina, and a white-painted aluminum base. When the lamp is lit, the milk glass emits a particularly beautiful, soft and atmospheric light. The design is clearly inspired by Ingo Maurer's iconic Bulb form, but the designer and manufacturer of this piece have not been established. Details * Period: 1970s * Origin/style: Italian design / Space Age * Height: approx. 24 cm * Base diameter: approx. 10 cm * Materials: milk glass, brass and aluminum * Color: white with brass * Supplied with cord and switch * Working The lamp is in a beautiful authentic vintage condition. The brass has a wonderful patina and the base shows light signs of wear appropriate for its age. It is precisely these original signs of use that give the lamp its character. A particularly decorative object for lovers of 1970s design, Space Age, Italian vintage, Mid-Century and distinctive lighting. Due to its compact size, also perfect as an ambient lamp on a sideboard, bedside table, desk, or in a design-focused interior. Photos are part of the description.
