T. Rex - Electric Sevens – RECORD STORE DAY 2012 –...

A highly collectible Record Store Day 2012 Limited Edition box set from T. Rex, containing four 7" vinyl singles and still completely factory sealed. Released on 21 April 2012 especially for Record Store Day, Electric Sevens brings together some of T. Rex's most iconic singles—Hot Love, Get It On, Jeepster and a BBC EP—alongside rare alternate versions, demos and BBC recordings. Several of these recordings were rare or previously unreleased at the time of this Record Store Day edition, making the set far more interesting than a straightforward collection of reissued singles. The box contains four individually presented 7" records: Hot Love (featuring the single version, an untitled instrumental credited as "A Lot Of Rubbish", and an early mix), Get It On (single version, raw ramp working/demo version, and acoustic demo), Jeepster (single version, life's a gas working/electric demo, and jeepster electric demo), and a BBC EP (Sailors Of The Highway, Girl and Electric Boogie, all BBC sessions). ⸻ Box & Sleeves (M): The complete box set remains fully factory sealed and unopened, preserving the set exactly as originally sold for Record Store Day 2012. The original shrink-wrap is intact with no tears or disturbance. None of the four records or their individual sleeves have ever been removed or handled. The presentation is pristine throughout → M Vinyl (M): All four 7" singles remain unplayed and in mint condition, sealed within their original sleeves → M ⸻ Details * Record Store Day Limited Edition * Released 21 April 2012 * A&M Records / Universal Music Group International * Catalogue: 533 812-3 * European pressing * 4 × 7" vinyl box set * Four individually presented singles with rare alternate versions and BBC recordings * Factory sealed and unopened
