(t) CHINA. Dollar, ND (1912). Nanking Mint. PCGS Genuine--Graffiti, EF Details.

(t) CHINA. Dollar, ND (1912). Nanking Mint. PCGS Genuine--Graffiti, EF Details. L&M-42; K-603; KM-Y-319; WS-0085. Low five-pointed stars variety. An interesting piece, both sides of which have been engraved with English letters which have then been "erased" by way of heavy scratching. The devices have been left relatively unscathed save for what appears to be a cross engraved upon the chest of Sun Yat-sen, and the engravings are evidently fairly old, with some deep toning developing over the surfaces. Estimate: $1,500 - $2,500. Click here for certification details from PCGS. Image with the PCGS TrueView logo is obtained from and is subject to a license agreement with Collectors Universe, Inc. and its divisions PCGS and PSA. (t) This lot was manufactured in China (including Hong Kong), Russia or Republic of Belarus and was sourced from outside the United States for this auction after tariffs were enacted by the United States.
