100% Cabernet Franc Wine of Origin: Tradouw Winemaker: Pierre Wahl Grapes come from Tradouw, which means “Tarras Doas” in Khoisan, or “Footpath of the Women”. Khoisan women used to walk barefoot with their children all the way to Witsand to trade goods. Harvest only takes place at the end of March. Dry conditions mean that the vineyard only gets sprayed with fungicides when absolutely necessary. Tasting Notes: The wine highlights the purity of Tradouw terroir. Red berry aromas are enhanced by a bold intensity of paprika and red bell pepper. Medium-bodied palate with refined tannin on the finish. Ready for drinking from 2027 to 2035.
