Summer Daydream -2 - Elena Done

Summer Daydream -2 by Elena Done Painting 23.6 x 36.9 :: These artworks are inspired by my summer daydreams during Spanish siesta and are intended to evoke playful slow revelations for the viewer. For me painting is a physical act an engagement with the materiality of the medium but it is also deeply psychological. I am fascinated by the fluidity of paint itself its ability to evoke both visceral emotion and fleeting moments of narrative. I primarily use oil as my medium for its richness softness and profound natural colors. By the end of my creative process oil permeates my studio and clothes a delightful creative chaos. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Abstract Expressionism Subject: Abstract Width: 23.6 Height: 36.9 Depth: 0.7 Weight: 6 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
