Submerged Geometry - Nivas Kanhere

Submerged Geometry by Nivas Kanhere Painting 30.0 x 40.0 :: This hypnotic monochromatic composition explores the depths of the color blue manifesting as a complex grid-like underwater landscape. The painting is structured through a series of panels that evoke a sense of looking through fractured crystalline water or distorted glass. The surface is rich with texture employing sharp triangular impasto marks that appear to float or sink within the deeper layered horizontal planes of cerulean cobalt and midnight blue. These angular geometric shards create a rhythmic tension breaking the fluidity of the horizontal ""tide"" that flows beneath them. The interplay between the dark shadowy forms and the lighter cyan-infused highlights gives the piece an immersive oceanic quality suggesting a world where structure and liquid chaos coexist in a quiet cool-toned harmony. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Abstract Expressionism Subject: Abstract Width: 30.0 Height: 40.0 Depth: 2 Weight: 10 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
