Studio Ghibli - SPIRITED AWAY - Hayao Miyazaki (2001)...

Japanese B2 poster for Spirited Away (千と千尋の神隠し / Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi), directed by Hayao Miyazaki and produced by Studio Ghibli. This striking alternate design features a close-up of Chihiro underwater, with rising bubbles and aquatic plants. The lower section depicts her standing alone in an expansive flooded landscape beneath a cloud-filled sky. The vertical promotional banner at lower left announces that the film was breaking Japanese attendance and box-office records. This identifies the design with the later stage of the film’s original Japanese theatrical campaign, rather than its advance promotion.
