Studio Delu

Studio Delu. (1976) – Collection: The Timeless – The Simpsons – The Mythical Couch Shadow Frame 27 × 27 cm – Mixed media – Signed artwork With its collection The Timeless, Studio Delu honors the great works of comics that cross generations. This creation pays tribute to The Simpsons, the most famous family in Springfield, imagined by Matt Groening and become a true icon of popular culture. Realized from a genuine page from a comic book, it depicts one of the series' most iconic scenes. The different elements are all assembled by hand in an elegant black Shadow Frame, creating a remarkable depth effect that brings the scene to life. The figurine is positioned to naturally extend the reading of the panel, creating a real dialogue between the printed image and the volume. This staging gives the whole piece a true sculptural presence while fully respecting the original work. Each Studio Delu creation is made individually. The choice of the page, of the figurine, and their staging give each work its own character. At the crossroads of comics, sculpture, and contemporary art, this piece is designed to be as much exhibited as collected. It will appeal to Simpsons fans, pop culture enthusiasts, and Comic Art collectors. Features Artist: Studio Delu.
