String - Kajsa and Nisse Strinning - Shelf - Metal, Wood

Original mid-century modern "String" wall shelf system, designed by the renowned Swedish design duo Kajsa and Nisse Strinning in the 1950s/1960s. The characteristic features of the piece shown in the picture: • Structure: Two white painted metal side ladders, on which the shelves can be hung at any height. • Shelves: Four shelves covered with beautiful grain, warm-toned wood (typically teak or ash veneer), with classic metal mounting lugs at the corners. This iconic Scandinavian design is still extremely popular and sought after in the vintage furniture market today due to its minimal style and versatility. There is a clever solution on the back, a hole to route cables if you put some technical device on it. It is in very good condition with a couple of signs of use. We can post it carefully packaged, in an insured, registered package.
