Bronze Stool in Neoclassical Style – Green Velvet Upholstery Seating Fascinating vintage brass cast and worked stool, characterized by a refined Neoclassical-inspired design with rich decorative details. The seat is upholstered in luxurious deep forest green velvet. An elegant and sophisticated accent piece, perfect for a bedroom, makeup area, or a classic living room. Detailed Description Technical and Stylistic Details: Period: Estimated Mid-20th Century. Style: Clear reference to Neoclassical style, visible in the geometric shapes and ornamentation inspired by classical antiquity. Frame Material: Solid brass. The brass features a beautiful vintage patina and high-quality cast details. Leg Details: The four legs are magnificently worked. They are tapered and feature a deep vertical fluting, topped with rail-capitals elegantly cast with leaf motifs. They end in stable and elegant feet. Under-Seat Rail: The rectangular frame supporting the seat is decorated along the entire perimeter with a refined Neoclassical frieze motif, adding a touch of opulence. Crest Detail: The legs are connected by an elegant curved "H"-shaped corset with fluted connector bars, which not only strengthens the structure but also adds a distinctive decorative element. Upholstery: Rectangular seat generously padded and upholstered in high-quality cotton velvet in a deep forest green. The velvet has a soft, luxurious finish. Bottom Section: As shown in the detailed photos, the base is solidly constructed with a support panel protected by a green fabric covering, and the feet are equipped with felt pads to protect floors. Condition: The stool is in good vintage condition. The brass structure is solid and features an authentic age patina that enhances its character. There are light signs of wear and oxidation on the brass, typical of age and use. The velvet is clean and well preserved, with no tears or obvious stains, only slight compression of the pile consistent with a vintage piece. Please review all images carefully as part of the description.
