Stijn Feijen - SUMMER LOVE

Summer Love This piece started on the street. Its base is a real festival poster that I tore down from an advertising column myself. You can still see the pink and the dates from the poster, like a little memory of that summer. The arms stand for summer love: that one summer romance you never quite managed to let go of. They reach upward, toward something or someone that stays just out of reach. In the corner, a question is written by hand: “If you could hear one person say ‘I’m proud of you,’ who would you want it to be?” It’s deliberately kept small and personal, tucked between all the layers of paint and paper. You have to come close to read it, and once you have, it stays with you. Everyone has a name in mind. I also worked in iconic cartoon characters from my childhood, with “LOVE LOVE” in their eyes. They add a playful, nostalgic edge between the torn paper, the spray paint and the dripping paint. Together, nostalgia, love and street culture come together in one piece. Shipping & Quality The artwork is professionally and securely packaged (see the final photo for packaging details) to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. Vision My vision is to make unique art with a great WOW factor because, making a design into a masterpiece, that's what fascinates me. Instagram: @Stijn.feije
