beautifully detailed solid bronze dragon with a lovely natural patina. remarkably heavy and solidly executed with a beautiful patina. The statue is 29 cm long and 18 cm high and weighs no less than 1780 grams. very beautifully detailed with scales, claws, tail, and horns. beautifully oriental (Thai) statue with a lovely presence. Notable is the artisanal detailing. The scales and other details are individually crafted and not identical, giving the statue a hand-finished character. It is not a smooth factory-made decorative piece. Absolutely not magnetic and estimated to be from the 1950s–1970s. bought in a temple in Thailand.
