Stabilized Turquoise - Promotes Meditation - 925 Silver...

I am putting up for auction a necklace of very large beads of stabilized turquoise of superior quality. The entire necklace has been hand-knotted with knots between each stabilized turquoise bead and the large clasp is solid 925 silver. Necklace professionally handmade in our workshop in Madrid (Spain). Turquoise, in the context of Christianity, is mainly associated with celestial symbolism and protective properties. It is attributed a meaning similar to that of the blue-green color, which is associated with heaven, the Holy Spirit and divine peace. In addition, turquoise has been used in religious objects and ornaments, such as crosses and reliquaries, for its supposed healing and protective properties, especially during the Middle Ages. Material: stabilized and striped turquoise of fine sky-blue color with black veins – FIRST QUALITY Bead size: approximately 22 to 18 mm Necklace length: 44.50 cm Silver 925 clasp – marked "925" – large and solid Necklace hand-knotted professionally with knots at each bead Thread: quality silk-cotton blend Gift box and protective pouch Stabilized turquoise is created by adding a resin to the soft turquoise to help enhance color and increase the stone’s hardness. As turquoise is a very porous substance, the resin fills the small holes and cracks to form a firm and stabilized turquoise stone. Stabilized turquoise is a protective stone against negative energies. It promotes balance of communication and expression. It is also associated with the third eye, enhancing meditation and intuition. Its energy is gentle and cool. The photos are part of the description.
