The set features a classic, refined design with a sober guilloche-like pattern on the handles, perfect for enriching a formal table or as a precious collectible piece. Technical Features and Details • Material: Solid Silver Titolo 800/1000 (Continental Silver). • Composition: The set includes 12 pieces (coordinated spoons). • Total weight (net cutlery): 108 grams (verified on a precision scale, as shown in the attached image). • Punches/Marks: • 800 hallmarked enclosed in an oval cartouche certifying the authenticity and purity of the alloy (80% pure silver). • Next to it is the identification mark of the Italian silversmith within the classic diamond-shaped lozenge with cut sides. • Era/Dating: 20th century (approx. 1944–1968, given the punch type without the fasces and before the introduction of the Republic star). • Case: Original vintage rigid box with a midnight blue external cover and interior in elegant white/ivory satin fabric shaped to hold each piece individually. On the inner bottom is the original golden retailer label. Condition The set is presented in excellent vintage condition. The silver shows a light, natural patina of time (surface tarnish, especially on the back of the handle as visible in the photos), indicating authenticity, easily polished with specific products if you wish to restore maximum original brilliance.
