Beautiful vintage South Korea flag (Taegeukgi) in a classic rendition. This flag features the iconic red-and-blue taegeuk and the four black trigrams, rendered in bright, bold colors. The stripes and the central symbol are applied using screen printing technique. Made in Dralon, with a sturdy edge and metal rings for mounting. The printed text is embroidered and reads “Süd Korea Dralon Gärtner,” which points to West German production. Manufactured in the 1970s. Dralon is a synthetic fiber (acrylic) that was widely used for outdoor flags from the 1960s onwards. The material is strong, more resistant to wind and moisture, and retains its color longer in sunlight. Therefore it is more practical and durable for outdoor use. dimensions 250x150 cm
