Solido 1:18 - Model car - Volkswagen T1 Pick-Up

Solido – Volkswagen T1 Pick-Up – ICA Livery – 1:18 Scale Model Car Description: A 1:18 scale Volkswagen T1 Pick-Up by Solido, finished in classic yellow-and-blue livery with Swedish grocery retailer ICA branding and lettering across the flatbed and doors — a charming period-correct commercial livery. The VW Type 2 (T1), affectionately known as the Bus, Transporter, or "Splitscreen," became one of the most versatile and beloved commercial platforms of the postwar era. The pick-up variant in particular found favour with small businesses and delivery services across Europe throughout the 1950s and '60s, prized for its low running costs and distinctive, friendly styling. Liveried examples like this one — decorated for ICA, one of Sweden's largest grocery chains — reflect the T1's everyday working life rather than showroom glamour, which is exactly what makes them appealing to collectors today. Solido's rendition captures the T1's rounded, split-windscreen front end and flatbed proportions well, finished in the two-tone yellow-over-navy scheme with full ICA signage. Presented in original window-box packaging.
