Sofa - Baroque sofa in carved wood, gold-lacquered. - Textile, Wood

Elegant two-seater vintage sofa, characterized by a shaped wooden frame richly decorated, with a gilded finish and sinuous lines of evident Baroque and Rococo inspiration. The profile of the frame is particularly scenographic: the backrest has a wavy, undulating shape, while the arms, lower fascia and legs are embellished with carved and decorative elements. The central motif at the base and the small ornamental elements on the feet confer the sofa an elegant and refined appearance. The gilded frame is paired with floral fabric upholstery in delicate tones of cream, antique pink and green, featuring an elaborate motif of flowers and ramages. The upholstery wraps all around the seat, backrest and arms, creating a particularly harmonious and decorative overall look. The seat consists of two large independent cushions, soft and generously padded, which make the sofa not only scenographic but also pleasant and comfortable. A piece of great presence, ideal for those seeking a decorative, elegant and unconventional piece of furniture, perfect in a classic living room but also as a contrasting element within contemporary environments, boutiques, studios or eclectic interior design projects. Recommended light restoration, shows normal signs of wear due to age and use as in the photos.
