Socony Motor Oil – Light Medium – Enamel advertising sign - Enamel

Beautiful decorative Socony Motor Oil advertisement sign, executed in enamel and featuring the classic American Socony logo. The sign has a distinctive cut-out shape and a striking color scheme in blue, white, and red. At the center is the historic Socony Motor Oil logo, with the text 'Light Medium' at the bottom and the mention 'Standard Oil Co. of New York'. Socony, derived from the Standard Oil Company of New York, is a well-known name in the history of the American oil industry and later became part of Mobil. The sign shows signs of use and aging, including slight edge damage, scratches, and rust around the mounting holes. These features contribute to its characteristic look. An attractive collectible for enthusiasts of petroliana, classic motor oil products, American advertising, and automobilia. Very suitable as decor for a garage, workshop, mancave, or collection. The sign is carefully and securely packaged due to the fragile enamel. This may result in slightly higher shipping costs. Please look closely at the photos for the exact condition and finish of the sign.
