Snuff box - Gilt brass - Gilded Louis XV box

18th-century gilded brass snuff box for snuff or pills in Rococo style with a chased depiction on the lid of Flora with a basket of flowers and a putto among rocailles. The sides of the box are decorated with fluting. It is made with great care, perfectly fitting and without signs of solder seams. The box dates from around 1750-1760 and is probably a French product from the Louis XV period. Dimensions: 1.8 x 1.4 x 3 cm. Condition: good, gilding somewhat worn (see photos) Dating: circa 1750 Country of origin: France
