Toutes les enchères / Arts Graphiques / SKE - GOLDORAK - Alien Invasion 08/10
“ALIEN INVASION” – ULTRA LIMITED ART EDITION (10 COPIES) Artist: SKE Dive into the heart of Japanese pop culture with Alien Invasion, an explosive art print signed by SKE, inspired by the retro codes of the 70s. A vibrant homage to vintage aesthetics, era manga, and the mythical iconography of giant robots. Every detail of the work — the nervous line, saturated colors, the “aged paper” texture, the comic-style explosions — recreates the raw energy of arcade and Japanese cinema posters from 1976. SKE injects his signature touch: a mastered blend of pop art, nostalgia, and visual power. ULTRA LIMITED EDITION: 10 COPIES ONLY This is one of the highlights of this piece. Only 10 prints in the world, numbered and hand-signed by the artist SKE. No reissue, no alternate version: the work is permanently limited. A true collector’s item for contemporary pop art enthusiasts, fans of Japanese culture, or collectors seeking rare pieces with high potential. Specifications Work: Alien Invasion Artist: SKE Limited print: 10 copies (numbered & signed) + Certificate Printed on Hahnemühle museum-grade art paper 200 g/m² Style: Pop art • Vintage manga • Retro Japanese poster Condition: New Exclusive: Not available in galleries – sold online and at auction only Why bid? Because this piece combines rarity, nostalgia, visual impact, and the signature of a rising contemporary artist. An poster that catches the eye, tells a story, and fits perfectly in a modern interior, a pop art collection, or a space dedicated to premium geek culture. The 10 copies will sell out quickly. If you’re looking for a strong, iconic work with collector’s appeal, this is it now. - FRAMING TIPS Your work is shipped rolled and protected in a tube. Upon receipt, remove it carefully and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours to allow it to regain its natural shape before framing. ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are easy to frame with standard frames available in DIY or home decor stores. Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant, and economical; they showcase the artwork perfectly. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a self-taught French artist with a versatile background who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring many of his works. He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencils, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art. After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s value has risen notably. Winner of the Urban Master contest first prize (2023), later named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as “Artist of the Month” by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also earned a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition. His works have been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. Parallel to that, SKE has also made his mark in the digital art market, a major trend in the last two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors. Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play define a style that is now essential. SKE is undoubtedly an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with rising value. Artist Ranked & Awarded – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work is part of a prestigious lineage. His line shows the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: revisiting classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws. POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami. LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The dollar symbol sits alongside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and high fashion (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to forget mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textures that evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski. This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
