SKE - Chun-Li - Player One

"Chun-Li - Player One" – Ultra Limited Edition (10 copies) - New collection Edition number: 01/10 Artist: SKE Technique: Digital painting (Procreate - AI - Photoshop) Instagram artist SKE: ske_shakeyourart Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris Premium art paper – ISO A2 format – Signed, numbered – Certificate included For an entire generation of gamers, Chun-Li is not just a character: she is one of the most iconic faces in the history of fighting games. With Chun-Li - Player One, SKE pays tribute to the golden age of arcade rooms and the Street Fighter universe, an essential reference for 1990s retro gaming. The composition places Chun-Li in the foreground, in front of an arcade cab mid-battle, as if the icon has stepped out of the screen to take control of the game itself. Her instantly recognizable blue outfit, spike bracelets, the joystick, the colorful buttons and the fight on the screen compose a true concentrated snapshot of arcade culture. The black, white, red and blue setting, treated with projections, traces and graphic gestures, gives this video game imagery a more contemporary reading, between pop art and street art. The piece’s interest lies precisely in this meeting: the cult iconography of video games becomes a work intended for collectors. It speaks to both Street Fighter and Chun-Li enthusiasts and to retro gaming, arcade cabinets, and gaming culture collectors. Printed on premium Hahnemühle art paper, the work is editioned to only 10 copies, each signed and hand-numbered by SKE and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity. Published by Atelier Montmartre Paris, it is sold unframed. • Limited edition of 10 copies • Printed on premium art paper • ISO A2 format (59.4x42 cm), easy to frame • Each copy signed and numbered by SKE • Delivered with certificate of authenticity • Shipped protected, reinforced packaging A rare edition that will undoubtedly become a flagship element of your collection. - FRAMING TIPS Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube. Upon receipt, carefully unroll it and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours to let it regain its shape before framing. ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in hardware or decoration stores. Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant, and economical, they showcase the works perfectly. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a self-taught, versatile French artist who grew up immersed in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work. He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art. After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has risen noticeably. Winner of the first prize at Urban Master (2023), then voted Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as Artist of the Month in October and also featured in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition. His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, solidifying his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE is also establishing himself in the digital art market, a major trend in the last two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors. Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture playing characterize a style now indispensable. SKE is without a doubt an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value. Acclaimed & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art A UNIVERSALITY BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work is part of a prestigious lineage. One finds in his line the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to twist Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws. POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic avarice of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the mythical Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami. LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes that sometimes recall the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski. This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your living space. - Instagram artist SKE: ske_shakeyourart
