Sitzendorf - Sculpture

Authentic hand-painted porcelain fine collectible figurine, from the prestigious German manufacturer Sitzendorf (Thuringia). It represents a magnificent Rococo / Louis XV style gallant scene, featuring a high-society couple in period attire on a bench. The finesse of the details, the movement of the drapes and the richness of the hand-painted color palette (deep cobalt blue, bright yellow, violet and floral motifs) attest to the exceptional craftsmanship of the Saxon manufactory at that time.
