Please consult the original photographs to verify the artwork’s actual condition.” This acrylic-on-canvas work masterfully fuses the aesthetics of Synthetic Cubism with the language of stained glass, delineating with firm and intense black strokes each form and geometric plane of the composition. The scene places a graceful female figure in the foreground with her back to the viewer, whose dress and silhouette are resolved in a bold mosaic of primary and secondary colors — reds, blues, greens, and oranges — accompanied by an interior still life with flowers and fruits. The frame of the blue gates opened acts as a window to the outside, creating a captivating spatial transition toward a coastal landscape of tranquil waters, sailboats, and picturesque houses with red-tiled roofs under the sun, achieving a perfect balance between the geometric abstraction of the interior space and the lyrical figurativeness of the seascape horizon.
