Ca. 336 - 300 BC. > A silver tetradrachm of Alexander the Great, the obverse with the head of Herakles in profile to the right, wearing the lion skin headdress. The reverse depicts Zeus Aetophoros seated to the left, holding an eagle in his right hand and a sceptre in his left, with Greek legend and control marks in the field.
