"The most interesting thing about it is the evidence it gives of Morris's continuing fascination with the idea of the quest, the journey through outlandish territory, impelled onwards by some supernatural force" (Fiona MacCarthy, WILLIAM MORRIS, 1994, p.564). Morris's translation of THE ODYSSEY was done in his unique quasi-Medieval style, which makes for an enjoyable read for those who appreciate and enjoy his colorful use of language. Light rubbing to extremities. The hinges show some weakness but overall the book remains solid. Condition overall: Very Good.
