Signé Moser Karlsbad - Vase - Globular vase

Superb and authentic globular vase (ball shape) in Bohemian crystal from the prestigious Moser Karlsbad manufacture, dating from the Art Deco period (circa 1920-1930). This emblematic model of the “Fipop” series in topaz/amber colored crystal stands out with its magnificent wide peripheral frieze gilded with fine gold. The decorative technique used is called oroplasia. It was patented and popularized by the Moser manufacture at the beginning of the 20th century. The acid-etched decoration depicts a mythological scene animated by combats of warriors and armed Amazons. The piece is fully signed under the base, engraved with the original diamond-tipped mark: “Made in Czecho Slovakia Moser Karlsbad.” A cursive export signature typical and sought after by collectors. Weight: 1.420 kg (heavy, high-density crystal). Height: 12.5 cm. Length/Width (Diameter): 15 cm. As for the rest, I leave you to discover for yourself the subtleties of this frieze and this superb vase. No breaks, chips or other damage; perhaps a micro-splinter or a defect inside the upper rim invisible but detectable very slightly to the touch, which must be reported. Happy bidding to all. As with all my items put up for auction on this site, this marvel has undergone no cleaning (just dusting) and no modification since purchase. Happy bidding to all. Please look carefully at the photos which form part of the description. Any damage not mentioned in the text but visible in the photos is considered described. No shipment outside the EU. If you are outside the European Union you may bid on one of my lots; however no claims will be possible in case of problems during transport. Professional careful shipping, with signature and insurance.
