The Siderite appears in distinctive globular aggregates and nodular formations of warm reddish-brown and orange hues, with finely rough and opaque surfaces. These iron-rich nodules rest on a dense, brilliant matrix covered by countless tiny Calcite crystals in ivory-white and translucent tones, which partially envelope the structure, creating a rich three-dimensional dynamic full of sculptural details. The specimen comes from the Estelette Glacier, Mont Blanc.
