This artwork celebrates its dramatic design, motorsport-derived engineering, and groundbreaking plug-in hybrid powertrain. Description This A1-format poster presents a refined technical-style illustration of the Porsche 918 Spyder, displayed in multiple views including front, rear, side, and top perspectives. Inspired by classic automotive blueprints, the composition combines sophisticated presentation with authentic technical detail. The design includes: Accurate proportions and dimensional layout Multiple perspectives highlighting the low bodywork, sculpted aerodynamic surfaces, removable roof panels, and distinctive top-exit exhaust system Clean technical annotations and specification panel Vintage-inspired background creating an elegant contrast with the car’s advanced hybrid technology Poster size: A1 (594 × 841 mm) Design & Aesthetic Executed in a minimalist and sophisticated style, the poster features crisp linework, harmonious composition, and carefully presented engineering details. The muted vintage color palette and lightly aged paper texture combine traditional technical-drawing aesthetics with the futuristic character of a modern Porsche hypercar. Subject Significance Produced between 2013 and 2015, the Porsche 918 Spyder demonstrated that electrification could enhance performance rather than merely improve efficiency. Developed as Porsche’s flagship technological showcase, it combined a high-revving naturally aspirated engine with two electric motors, advanced all-wheel drive, and sophisticated energy-recovery systems. At its heart is a 4.6-litre naturally aspirated V8 derived from Porsche’s RS Spyder racing programme. Working together with electric motors on the front and rear axles, the system produces a combined output of 887 PS. Power is managed through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, while the front electric motor provides independently controlled drive to the front wheels. The 918 Spyder also features a carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic monocoque, active aerodynamics, rear-wheel steering, removable roof panels, and multiple driving modes designed for both electric operation and maximum performance. Its innovative construction and exceptionally capable chassis allowed it to combine hypercar acceleration with remarkable stability and everyday usability. In 2013, a 918 Spyder equipped with the Weissach Package completed the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6 minutes and 57 seconds, becoming the first series-production road car to record an officially measured lap below seven minutes. Production was limited to exactly 918 examples, securing its status as one of Porsche’s most exclusive and collectible models. Condition Excellent visual condition Crisp print quality with fine detailing No visible defects (adjust if necessary) Lot Details Lot size: 1 poster Size: A1 Theme: Modern hypercar / technical illustration Subject: Porsche 918 Spyder — 2015 Collector’s Appeal This poster is an ideal collectible for Porsche enthusiasts, hypercar collectors, motorsport fans, and admirers of advanced automotive engineering.
