Toutes les enchères / Véhicules / Shmidt.Art - Porsche - Porsche 911 targa - 1970s
A premium automotive poster dedicated to the legendary 1973 Porsche 911 Targa 2.4 — a distinctive open-air interpretation of the classic 911 and one of the most recognizable Porsche designs of the early 1970s. This artwork presents the Porsche 911 Targa in an elegant Silver Metallic finish, accompanied by detailed technical views, a period-inspired cockpit illustration, classic seating, historic Porsche colour options, specifications, and carefully selected design elements. The warm vintage background complements the timeless shape of the early 911, creating a refined tribute to Porsche’s combination of engineering, tradition, and open-air driving. Highlights The Classic 911 Targa The Targa offered a unique alternative to both the traditional coupé and a full convertible. Its removable roof section and distinctive fixed roll-over structure created an unmistakable silhouette while preserving much of the character and structural philosophy of the 911. Air-Cooled Flat-Six The 1973 911 range was powered by Porsche’s celebrated 2.4-litre air-cooled flat-six engine. Combined with a manual transmission, rear-engine layout, and rear-wheel drive, it delivered the mechanical character and direct driving experience that defined the classic air-cooled 911. Lightweight Engineering Compact dimensions, relatively low weight, responsive steering, and Porsche’s continuously developed rear-engine architecture gave the early 911 its distinctive personality. Rather than relying on excessive power, the car emphasized balance, driver involvement, and precise engineering. Timeless Targa Design The early 911 Targa combines the iconic round headlights, sloping bonnet, compact bodywork, and flowing rear profile of the classic 911 with its defining removable roof and Targa structure. The result is one of the most recognizable variations of Porsche’s enduring sports-car design. Detailed Illustrated Composition The artwork includes: Large three-quarter illustration in Silver Metallic Front and side profile views Detailed period-inspired cockpit illustration Targa roof and seating detail Rear three-quarter view Classic Porsche colour palette Technical specifications and design notes Vintage-style typography and presentation The warm ivory background, subtle aged-paper texture, and carefully rendered illustrations create an elegant archival aesthetic suitable for a garage, office, living room, studio, or automotive collection.
