A premium A1-format technical poster dedicated to the BMW 850 CSi (1992) — the ultimate performance evolution of the legendary E31 8 Series, combining a powerful V12 engine, advanced chassis technology, and unmistakable 1990s grand touring design. This artwork showcases a highly detailed multi-view technical illustration, including front, rear, side, and top perspectives, complete with precise dimensions and key specifications. A refined tribute to one of the most exclusive and technically sophisticated BMW models of its era. Highlights Flagship BMW Grand Tourer Introduced in 1992, the BMW 850 CSi represented the highest-performance factory version of the E31 8 Series. Developed with significant involvement from BMW Motorsport, it transformed the luxurious 8 Series into a considerably more focused high-performance grand tourer. 5.6-Litre V12 Power Powered by the naturally aspirated 5.6-litre S70B56 V12 engine, the 850 CSi produced 380 PS (375 hp / 279 kW) and 550 Nm of torque. Power was delivered to the rear wheels exclusively through a 6-speed manual transmission. Impressive Performance The 850 CSi could accelerate from 0–100 km/h in approximately 6 seconds, while its top speed was electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph), delivering effortless high-speed performance worthy of BMW's flagship coupé. Advanced Chassis Technology The 850 CSi featured specially tuned suspension, upgraded braking and steering systems, a lower and firmer chassis setup, and Active Rear Axle Kinematics to improve stability, handling precision, and high-speed control. Iconic E31 Design Its low wedge-shaped profile, pillarless side windows, pop-up headlights, wide stance, and elegant two-door coupé proportions make the E31 one of BMW's most distinctive designs. Unique aerodynamic details further distinguished the CSi from other 8 Series models. Rare Motorsport-Developed Model Produced in limited numbers, the 850 CSi has become one of the most collectible BMW grand tourers of the 1990s, combining exclusivity, sophisticated engineering, and a unique naturally aspirated V12 driving experience. Technical Precision Accurate dimensional layout inspired by original engineering schematics, emphasizing the car's low-slung proportions, rear-wheel-drive architecture, V12 powertrain, and sophisticated chassis engineering.
