Shepard Fairey (OBEY) (1970) - Eyes Open

A particularly representative work of Shepard Fairey’s graphic language, Eyes Open combines its instantly recognizable aesthetic with an engaged message about vigilance, collective consciousness, and environmental protection. Created at the end of 2020, this image relates the eye, a symbol of lucidity and attention, to the rose and the globe. Fairey thus invites us to look at the world with greater awareness, while reminding us of our collective responsibility in the face of environmental and social issues.
