Item: SHEAFFER BALANCE fountain pen in green and black marbled celluloid, torpedo body with ball clip and white dot on the cap Reference / Edition: Balance, finish "Marine Green" Length: 11.7 cm Diameter: 1.15 cm Nib: F Period: 1930s (production approx. 1930-1940) Materials: Marbled green and black celluloid, black material section, ball clip and wide cap band in gold metal; gold nib engraved "SHEAFFER'S 5-30 MADE IN USA" Condition: Good state of preservation for its age. The celluloid retains shine and depth of color, with the typical signs of use of a vintage piece: superficial micro-scratches and light marks distributed on cap and body. The gold coating on the clip and cap band shows small signs of wear. The section's threads show normal use. The cap’s white dot remains intact and the nib is straight and well-aligned. The functionality of the filling system has not been checked; sold as a collectible item. Accessories: Only the loose piece; no box or papers visible in the photos.
