Yu Zhao (born in Beijing in 1976) is a Chinese contemporary artist and painter who has lived and worked in France for more than twenty years. Her primary art studio is located within the famous collective and creative space Le 6b in Saint-Denis, in the Paris metropolitan area. She is a prominent figure in the contemporary lyrical abstraction scene, known for her ability to fuse Eastern aesthetics with the historical painting techniques of the West. A complete triumph of lyrical abstraction and contemporary artistic synthesis between East and West. This imposing and unique vertical masterpiece by the sought-after contemporary painter Yu Zhao captures a deep spiritual energy through its fluid movements. The primordial power of deep earthy tones and vibrant cobalt blue interacts with a bright, tactile background, creating an energetic visual rhythm that is deeply meditative. As explicitly documented in the high-resolution macro photograph, the work is hand-signed and dated "Yu Zhao 2017" with a sharp, authentic graphite stroke in the upper left corner.
