Seiko - Prospex PADI Turtle Special Edition – 4R36A –...

Offered is a Seiko Prospex Automatic Diver in the well‑known Turtle design with PADI Special Edition case back. The case back bears the designation 4R36-05H0, “SPECIAL EDITION”, “AIR DIVER'S 200m” as well as the serial number 765840. The watch has been opened and the installed movement has been photographed for documentation. Inside there is a Seiko caliber 4R36A with 24 jewels. The movement is clearly recognizable in the attached photos. The watch runs and the functions operate in the current state. Manual winding, hacking seconds, day-date display, and the rotating diver’s bezel work. Important note on originality: The currently installed dial does not match the original PADI dial of this version. At the lower edge there is the marking “NH36-336LT”. The dial is therefore to be regarded as a replacement/aftermarket component. The watch is expressly not offered as a fully factory-original specimen, but as a Seiko Prospex PADI Special Edition with a replaced dial. The installed movement is a Seiko 4R36A with 24 jewels and has been photographed for documentation. The originality of other components such as hands and bezel insert has not been independently verified. The stainless steel bracelet has a Seiko-signed clasp. The watch is in a used condition. The case, bezel, crystal, case back, and bracelet show signs of age and use as well as scratches. Please examine the attached photos carefully, as they are part of the condition description. A documented service history is not available. The case back was resealed after the movement was checked. Water resistance has not been tested afterwards. Despite the original marking “AIR DIVER'S 200m,” no current water resistance is guaranteed. Before contact with water, the watch should be checked by a watchmaker.
