Beautiful, exceptional week-drawer desk, a true work of art and of history, Louis XV-inspired. This versatile piece marries elegance and functionality with brio. A Refined Design: This bureau-semainier is characterized by a unique architecture, combining a folding top-secretary part on the top and several spacious drawers underneath. The front is adorned with superb floral marquetry in precious wood species, drawing delicate and harmonious motifs. The sides are also embellished with refined marquetry, adding an extra touch of sophistication. The Charm of Authenticity: The desk is crowned with an elegant marble top, bringing a note of prestige and durability. Ornamental details in gilded bronze, such as the pull handles and the foot decorations, emphasize the precious character of this piece. The natural patina of the wood and the signs of time attest to its authenticity and history. Interior Arranged: The fall-front opens onto a stage featuring a niche/shelf, two small interior marqueted drawers, as well as a writing surface covered with its original suede/feutre bordered by a gold braid. 19th-century furniture piece, it naturally shows some veneer flaws; please check the photos for more details. Thank you 3 keys are present, the locks are functional. Height 130 cm
