Sculpture, Vaso o urna monumentale - 23 cm - Bronze

Monumental vase or decorative urn with a pedestal, made in the style of the Grand Tour or European Neoclassicism (dated to the 19th to early 20th century). It consists of two distinct sections. The upper part features a crater-shaped vase with a continuous bas-relief frieze depicting mythological figures in procession or in chariots. The lower part serves as a cylindrical pedestal decorated with relief putti or cherubs, resting on a square base. Material: a bronze alloy cast with brown patina. The height is about 23 cm, with a square base about 10x10 cm. Good condition with normal signs of time and wear; note that the central pin has been replaced. See photos for condition and measurements. I do not ship outside the European Community. The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced styrofoam box.
