Sculpture, Set di 2 Fragole decorative - 6 cm - Murano glass

Entirely handmade in Murano with lamp-working, these two glass strawberries in solid glass are a small classic of Italian design: simple in form, precious in workmanship. Each strawberry is hot-modeled in transparent ruby red solid glass, in the typical heart shape that narrows to a point. The entire surface is marked by tiny dimples, reproducing the seeds of the real fruit and, when struck by light, they light up with reflections like many tiny lenses. On top, the green glass leaf calyx is hot-applied: the tips extend over the fruit and, where the green overlaps the red, they take on deeper, richer shades. In the center, a small curved stem sprouts. The two strawberries are different sizes, one large and one smaller, and together they form a harmonious pair. They are perfect on a shelf, on a table, or in a glass bowl, and thanks to the solid glass they can also be used as a paperweight. An original gift for someone who loves design, artistic glass, or simply strawberries. Each strawberry is unique: the arrangement of the dimples, the shape of the leaves, and the small bubbles enclosed in the glass vary from piece to piece. They are the mark of handmade craftsmanship, not defects. Details Technique: solid glass hand-shaped and heated, with applied leaves. Number of pieces: 2 strawberries. Dimensions of the large strawberry: approximately 6 × 4 × 4 cm. Dimensions of the small strawberry: approximately 4.5 × 3 × 3 cm. Colors: transparent ruby red, green leaves and stem.
