Sculpture

Remarkable and expressive glass sculpture in the shape of a lobster, fully handmade and mouth-blown. The object is crafted in vivid red glass, combined with deep cobalt blue and transparent accents. Through the different color layers, flowing forms and transparency, the sculpture continuously changes with the light. Especially in daylight the colors and reflections come into their own beautifully. The long antennae, legs, claws and transparent details are formed separately and give the work a lively, almost organic appearance. Because of the artisanal production process, small irregularities and subtle differences in shape, color and glass structure may occur. This is part of the character of handmade mouth-blown glass and makes each piece unique. A striking decorative art object for, among other things, a modern, eclectic or luxurious interior. Very suitable as a focal point on a sideboard, display cabinet, console or coffee table.
