Sculpture

Powerful and expressive bronze sculpture of a rearing horse, created with great attention to anatomy, movement and detail. The tense pose, raised forelegs and beautifully modeled mane give the sculpture a strong dynamism and presence. The horse is finished with a dark, warm patina where the higher parts display subtle bronze accents. This makes the muscle groups, manes and contours stand out particularly beautifully. The sculpture rests on a richly modeled bronze base and is mounted on a heavy, polished black natural stone/marble pedestal. This combination gives the whole piece a classical and luxurious presentation. On the bronze base there is a visible signature, as clearly shown in the detail photos. A decorative and characterful object that is especially well-suited to a classical interior, modern gallery setting, office or a collection with horse and equestrian art.
