Scheurich, Bay / Carstens Tönnieshof - Vase (4) - Ceramic

4-piece Mid-Century Ceramic Convolute – Carstens Tönnieshof, Scheurich & Bay Keramik Description: Beautiful 4-piece collection of German mid-century ceramics featuring a large decorative floor vase and three smaller table vases. The set combines distinctive ceramic works from different German manufacturers with different glazes and surface textures. 1. Carstens Tönnieshof – large white floor vase Height: approx. 30 cm Opening diameter: approx. 10 cm Base diameter: approx. 11.5 cm Body diameter: approx. 13 cm Weight: approx. 1 kg Large white vase with a plastically textured surface and decorative, organic form. The Carstens-Tönnieshof mark on the bottom is only weakly legible due to wear. 2. Scheurich – Bordeaux red, model 288-15 Height: approx. 15 cm Opening diameter: approx. 5.5 cm Base diameter: approx. 7 cm Weight: approx. 330 g Decorative table vase in a rich Bordeaux red. The vase still bears the original Scheurich label. 3. Scheurich – light, model 288-15 Height: approx. 15 cm Opening diameter: approx. 5.5 cm Base diameter: approx. 7 cm Weight: approx. 360 g Execution of the same Scheurich model with a light glaze and characteristic craquelé texture, giving the vase a special vintage look. 4. Bay Keramik – vivid red, model 60-14 Height: approx. 14 cm Opening diameter: approx. 6 cm Base diameter: approx. 8 cm Small, highly color-saturated table vase in a strong, bright red. Condition: Overall nice vintage condition with age-related signs of wear and slight, partly manufacturing glaze irregularities. The large white Carstens-Tönnieshof vase shows on the body a roughly 7 cm long, very fine and hardly noticeable hairline crack. This is visible only on the outside and does not extend inside. A corresponding close-up photo is included. The remaining vases show age-appropriate signs of use. Please refer to the photos, which are part of the description. An attractive 4-piece collection of German mid-century ceramics featuring Carstens Tönnieshof, Scheurich and Bay Keramik – with different forms, glazes and surface textures.
