Scalextric - Slot car Porsche 911 - 1980-1990

PORSCHE 911 SC/RS #28 – LOMBARD RAC RALLY 1984 1:32 scale replica of the legendary Porsche 911 SC/RS no. 28, driven by the Qatari Saeed Al-Hajri together with British co-driver John Spiller at the Lombard RAC Rally of 1984, one of the most demanding events of the World Rally Championship. Entered by the prestigious Rothmans Porsche Rally Team, this Porsche wore the iconic Rothmans blue, white, and gold livery, becoming one of the most recognizable images in 1980s motor racing. The 911 SC/RS was a competition version specially developed for rallying, equipped with a naturally aspirated six-cylinder Boxer engine of almost 3 liters displacement. Unlike the powerful turbocharged Group B cars of the era, it stood out for its balance, reliability, and performance on challenging terrain. In the 1984 RAC Rally, Al-Hajri and Spiller finished 17th overall, also achieving 14th place in their B12 category. Al-Hajri would become a prominent figure in Middle East rallies, conquering the regional championship in 1984 and 1985 with Porsche.
