Santicri - Essence Dollars, gold

Santicri has participated in numerous internationally renowned art exhibitions. Among the most significant, in 2022 he exhibited his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he was present at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thereby expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also listed among the top three most searched names on the Catawiki platform, another sign of the growing appreciation for his work. These recognitions highlight Saticri’s extraordinary talent and his increasing visibility in the contemporary art scene. Santicri Mixed media Dimensions: 90x50x15 cm Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Limited edition x/8 This work stages a pointed reflection on the value and power of money. The repetition of one-dollar bills, deformed into a fluid movement that converges toward a point, recalls the idea of flow, as if a stream of energy. The choice to integrate a real faucet, from which money seems to pour, amplifies the conceptual dimension: money as a liquid, manipulable resource, and at the same time illusory. In this way, the artist not only represents money but stages it as spectacle and paradox: an inexhaustible source of desire, but also a symbol of a power that slips away from and escapes hands. The work is a digital painting on 350 g canvas, the faucet is iron, the drop is resin with an iron core, it is shipped already mounted on a wooden frame, frame not included. Insured shipping. The package is carefully packed. The drop is shipped separately from the faucet and must be screwed onto the faucet (by hand). This is to ensure safer shipping. The edition number shipped will be chosen at random from the available ones. The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, immediately following icons such as Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier and Pokémon. A talent recognized not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist followed a path that, between studies in surveying and architecture, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture craftsman. There arose an ever-stronger need to find himself and unleash his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of street art, pop art, and contemporary art paintings and sculptures. "It's never easy to classify one's art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of perceiving what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that fits modern times: impactful and memorable."
