San Clemente Pier - Grace Diehl

San Clemente Pier by Grace Diehl Painting 20.0 x 10.0 :: San Clemente Pier captured on a quiet morning en plein air. I set up right at the scene to catch the early light and atmosphere firsthand then brought the piece back to my studio to refine the details and bring it to completion. The result is a painting that carries both the immediacy of that morning and the polish of studio time. I took a bit of a risk with a canvas size I'd never tried outdoors — but having already planned my subject and vantage point I knew a horizontal format would do the scene justice. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Fine Art Subject: Seascape Width: 20.0 Height: 10.0 Depth: 0.7 Weight: 1 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
