Salvador Dalí 24 carat gold finished Solid silver gravure, very rare, years 70 size framed 16x15cm Gravure silver: 6x4 cm Very good condition While Salvador Dalí remains the ultimate global icon of Surrealism, the astronomical financial peaks of the blue-chip art market are often dominated by other legendary masters. Dalí’s dreamlike symbolism and meticulous technique laid the groundwork for modern visual culture, directly influencing the eccentric public personas and commercial brilliance of Andy Warhol and the raw, expressive intensity of Jean-Michel Basquiat, both of whom frequently command over 100 million dollars at auction. Furthermore, while Dalí explored the depths of the unconscious mind, titans of modern and impressionist art like Pablo Picasso and Claude Monet historically outpace him in financial valuation, alongside the post-war color fields of Mark Rothko and the record-breaking, intricate gold-leaf masterpieces of Gustav Klimt. Excellent condition is on the rise, and together with the artistic value of this piece, it makes an investment
