The figure of Christ is seen from above, suspended over a luminous landscape of sea, boats and distant hills, creating a composition that feels both mystical and cinematic. Dalí transforms the Crucifixion into a vision of cosmic silence, where the body, cross, sky and horizon become part of a vast spiritual and symbolic space. Its dramatic perspective and golden atmosphere connect naturally with Spanish painting, religious art, Surrealism and the wider modern tradition of artists such as Velázquez, El Greco, Zurbarán, Goya, Picasso, Miró, Magritte, De Chirico and Max Ernst. This work has strong appeal for admirers of Salvador Dalí, Surrealism, religious imagery, Spanish art, symbolic painting, vintage interiors, antique atmosphere, rare decorative prints and sophisticated wall art. Its striking contrast between deep black, warm gold, luminous blue and dramatic shadow makes it especially suitable for a refined living room, study, library, chapel-like space, luxury apartment, collector’s room or eclectic interior with a strong visual identity. It can sit beautifully beside wood furniture, antique objects, sculpture, Murano glass, Eames chairs, Gio Ponti references, mid-century design, gold accents, rare ceramics, books, candles or limited edition decorative pieces, creating a powerful dialogue between art, spirituality, design and interior atmosphere. With its iconic composition and emotional intensity, "Cristo de San Juan de la Cruz" is also a meaningful gift for those who appreciate Dalí and sacred art. For those interested in Picasso, Miró, Magritte, Matisse, Kandinsky, Klimt, Lempicka, Warhol, Basquiat, Haring, Rothko, Lichtenstein, Hockney, Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Jeff Koons, Kaws and Karl Lagasse, "Cristo de San Juan de la Cruz" offers a rare combination of spirituality, luxury, symbolism and visual impact. Its golden light, dramatic perspective and timeless Surrealist identity fit perfectly with today’s trend for curated interiors, where fine art prints can live naturally beside Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Lego, Star Wars, Pokémon, champagne, whisky and other icons of style, rarity and collecting. A majestic and highly decorative Dalí image, ideal for adding mystery, elegance, depth and unforgettable artistic presence to any refined interior.
