Raw Ruby from Myanmar (Burma) – 115.05 ct – Untreated (Natural) Up for auction, an exceptional and imposing specimen of raw ruby coming from the historic and renowned mines of Myanmar (ex Burma), the cradle of the finest rubies in the world. This extraordinary crystal boasts a substantial weight of 115.05 carats (23.01 grams) and presents with a suggestive and intense pink-reddish saturated coloration. As visible from the photographs, the mineral shows a spectacular reaction and brightness when backlit, highlighting the quality and the charm of its internal crystal structure, enriched by inclusions and dark superficial matrices that attest to its absolute authenticity. The most important feature of this lot is its total naturalness: the ruby has undergone no thermal or chemical treatment (No Heating), preserving intact the purity and energy with which it was extracted from the earth.
