Rare prototype Bunnykins figure depicting the crusading King Richard in a white surcoat emblazoned with a distinctive red Maltese cross, worn over finely detailed silver chainmail armor extending to the sleeves, gauntlets, boots, and coif. A royal blue cloak fastened with a looped gold chain completes his regal attire. Modeled standing upon a buff-colored cobblestone base and holding a pale grey sword with gold hilt. The underside bears the Royal Doulton "PROTOTYPE ONLY" backstamp, identifying this exceptional example as a prototype.
