Royal Bonn - Plate - Ceramic - Art Nouveau

Stunning Art Nouveau wall plaque from Royal Bonn (Franz Anton Mehlem), ca. 1900. From the so-called 'Old Dutch' series. The plaque is hand-painted with a rich polychrome palette: deep cobalt blue, vivid red, and sage green on a bright, light-cream background. Centrally there is a stylized floral and fruit motif, beautifully framed by a dynamic, wavy edge. The diameter is 24 cm. The plaque is in good condition. On the back there are craquelure and discolorations in the glaze. The lot will be carefully packed and insured for shipping.
