For sale: a beautiful vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, reference 1500, from 1975, featuring a perfect blue dial. The watch is in excellent condition and all functions work properly. The Rolex was fully serviced on 09/09/2024 and the automatic movement runs very well. The movement has also been tested on a Timegrapher. Specifications • Brand: Rolex • Model: Oyster Perpetual Date • Reference: 1500 • Year of production: 1975 • Serial number: 398***7 • Movement: Rolex Caliber 1570, automatic • Power reserve: approx. 48 hours • Certification: historically COSC-certified movement • Case: stainless steel • Case diameter: 34 mm, excluding crown • Dial: blue, restored, in excellent condition • Crystal: original and scratch-free, in excellent condition • Date: date display at 3 o'clock • Crown: original, Rolex-signed crown • Water resistance: equipped with a screw-down crown; water resistance of a vintage watch should be tested before use • Bracelet: original Rolex Oyster bracelet • Clasp: original Rolex clasp, professionally repaired; the repair is visible as a weld • Wrist size: suitable for a wrist circumference of about 19 cm • Box: Rolex aftermarket box, not an original Rolex box Maintenance On September 9, 2024 the watch underwent a full overhaul. The movement functions excellently and runs very smoothly. Condition A particularly beautiful vintage Rolex with an attractive blue dial. The crystal is original. The dial has been restored in the past and is currently in very nice condition. The original Rolex Oyster bracelet and Rolex clasp are present. The clasp has been repaired in the past; a weld was made, as visible in the photos.
